Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of damage is this intended for?

Suitable minor windshield chips and small cracks. Suitability depends on the damage's size, depth and location. Have large, deep, spreading, edge-reaching or vision-obstructing damage assessed by an auto-glass professional before applying resin.

Will the chip disappear completely?

The resin is designed to help reduce the visible appearance of suitable minor damage. A visible mark may remain. Results vary with the damage, preparation and application, so a completely invisible repair is not guaranteed.

How long does the resin take to cure?

Follow the curing time and sunlight or UV conditions in the instructions supplied with your product. Allow the resin to cure fully before removing the film and finishing the surface.

Do I need to mix anything?

No ingredient mixing is needed. The resin is supplied ready to use. Follow the product directions for preparation, application, curing and use of the included finishing blade.

How many bottles should I order?

Choose from 2, 5, 8 or 15 bottles. The amount required depends on the damage and application; a fixed number of bottles cannot be recommended for every vehicle. Each package also includes 5 curing films and 1 finishing blade.

Can I use it on phone screens, eyeglasses or mirrors?

Use the resin only on surfaces expressly approved in the manufacturer's instructions. Compatibility with phone screens, eyeglasses, mirrors, coatings and other specialty glass must be confirmed before use.

Does this replace professional glass repair?

DIY resin is intended only for suitable minor damage. If you are unsure whether your windshield can be repaired, have it assessed by an auto-glass professional before applying the product.
